Smart Money Management
Wealth management Strategies
Indicator Advisory has many options when it comes to investing and money management. None of the cash is idle in the accounts. We use fractional shares to invest the entire amount (minus the amount kept in cash for fees). Please review our innovative solutions below:
Direct Management Strategy® (DMS)
Do you know what you are paying for mutual funds? … It’s what you keep that counts. At Indicator Advisory, we recognize the impact that hidden fees have on investors. Choose an advisor that understands how to avoid those fees and minimize the cost. As the originators of the Direct Management Strategy®, we can show you how our unique, alternative strategies for wealth management can eliminate mutual fund expenses and their many deficiencies!
Yield Enhancement Program™ (YEP)
Maximize the power of compounding, dividend reinvestment and the “Dividends Received Exemption” which enables corporations to dramatically reduce income taxes and enhance returns. This program is great for businesses looking to take advantage of corporate cash surpluses!
Yield Enhancement Strategy™ (YES)
Make the change in your portfolio and add cost-effective money management!
Take advantage of stocks that pay monthly dividends that are immediately reinvested at no added cost! Doing so allows a “geometric compounding” pattern of 2-4-6-8 rather than the traditional 1-2-3-4. We also equal weight our portfolios because equal-weighting has outperformed other styles over time.
For Example: If we assume an investment of $10,000 consisting of 1000 shares of a $10 stock and hold that stock for ten years we could achieve a total value of $15,918.49. Our annual “yield based upon cost” would equal an attractive 8.22%! If we assume an historic stock growth rate of 9%, it would add to the gain.
Balanced Income Growth Strategy™ (BIG)
It is now possible to invest as little as $10,000 in a yield-enhanced monthly dividend portfolio and also garner college tuition discounts for all your relatives.
… and you can add funds monthly to add growth through ” dollar cost averaging” contributions!
Strategic Account Forecast Evaluation™ (SAFE)
The definition of a “bear market” is a -20% stock market decline. In 2018 the first market high point occurred on September 20th and the first broad market low occurred on October 29th resulting in a decline of -10.49%. The second market high point was November 7th with a low occurring on November 23rd with a 6.31% decline during this period. The third high occurred December 3rd with the largest overall market valley occurring December 24th with a total-20% intra-day loss. Altogether the total between the two highs and lows was -32.98% during that period. So, the fourth calendar quarter markedly exceeded the bear market of -20% level by a wide margin!
OUR ALGORITHM RESULTS:
We adjusted all client portfolio positions on October 23rd, ahead of the larger October 29th decline to reduce growth/value stocks and to increase exposure to more conservative public utility stocks and short-term bonds. We modestly increased our account growth strategy in early January. (There were no “sales commissions” involved in the trades because we are a “fee-only” Registered Investment Advisory corporation.)
The result was that the worst portfolios suffered a 17.15% loss through year end…in an overall market decline of -32.98% bear market. All portfolios were then selectively returned to a greater growth posture in early January 2019. That’s “SAFE” investing! *
